The Presenter is responsible for the presentation of the Exploreum’s public, education, and special programs. This position requires an active role in new program development, group and individual presentation training, and program operation. The Presenter will utilize dramatic skills to provide high-quality interpretive, improvisational, and educational presentations to all Exploreum audiences.

Responsibilities
o Participates in new program development, training, and presentation (shows, demonstrations, classroom presentations, birthday parties, exhibits, etc)
o Prepares for and cleans up supplies after programs
o Maintains equipment and supplies for program operation
o Encourages Exploreum visitors to participate in programs and exhibits
o Explains exhibits to visitors
o Fulfills all the duties of the Exhibit Assistant when not presenting
o Always presents a high level of professionalism when carrying out assigned duties and responsibilities

Requirements
o Must be enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated
o Ability to work as a team
o Must have a willingness to learn new things
o Ability to interact well with diverse audiences of all ages
o Have an interest in science and technology education
o Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
o Self-starter; able to take initiative and present with little supervision
o Leadership experience a plus
o Flexible, adaptable, and able to learn quickly
o Dynamic public speaking and public presenting skills
o Dramatic, improvisational, and creative public speaking experience a plus
