The Exploreum is conveniently located in historic downtown Mobile within walking distance of the Fort Conde Welcome Center and the Alabama Cruise Ship Terminal. The Exploreum is next door to the Museum of Mobile and across the street from the Mobile Convention Center and the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel.

The Exploreum is at 65 Government Street at the corner of Government and Water Streets. Visitors traveling via Interstate 10 should take Exit 26B (Water Street). As you come off the interstate ramp, the Exploreum is located to your immediate left. Turn left on Government Street for the main entrance to the Exploreum.

Parking
There are several convenient parking options for visitors in the downtown area:

Fort Conde Welcome Center

• Located one block from the Exploreum, Fort Conde is the official Welcome Center of the city of Mobile. Fort Conde is located on Royal Street.
• Free parking

Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel Parking Garage

• Located adjacent to the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel. There are entrances to this parking garage on Water Street, Royal Street and Dauphin Street.
• $9 for 2 to 12 hours

Central Parking Systems Lot

• Located on Government Street at the intersection with Royal Street next to the Royal Scam Restaurant.
• $5 per day

Mobile Convention Center Parking Garage

• Located in the Mobile Convention Center. Entrance is just past the Convention Center on Government Street.
• $1 per day

Metered Parking

• Located along most streets in Downtown Mobile.
• $1 per hour
• Free on weekends
• Some meters only accept quarters
