In the Wharf of Wonder, playing IS learning!
The Wharf is an optimal learning environment for the smallest Exploreum visitors, ages 0-5, and their parents or caregivers.
Little ones can step aboard the S.S. Crichton, steer the shrimp boat, blow the horns and climb on the lighthouse without competition from older children.
The whimsical setting is filled with objects that promote tactile exploration and stimulate sensorimotor learningthe ball pond is brimming with sea animals awaiting discovery, and the market is stocked with fish to sort and count.
Scaled and designed to meet the physical needs of preschoolers, toddlers and infants, this secure area is outfitted with smaller steps, smooth surfaces for crawling and quiet areas to rest and read.
