DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, March 21st\, from 9:30 am – 2:00 pm for our annual Easter at the Exploreum event – Sponsored by Publix Supermarket Charities!\nKicking off the Exploreum Easter Egg Hunt at 10am\, this event will bring the wonders of the holiday and the world of STEAM learning to life through hands-on activities and thrilling science experiments. \nAfter all\, 10\,000 prize-filled eggs have been found (including 5 special golden eggs)\, you can hop into our Digal Dome Theater for the first showing of ZOOTOPIA (2016). \nThroughout the day\, science demos and hands-on STEM activities. \n Be sure to grab some Kona Ice located right outside our front doors! We will also have facepainting by Roxstar and a special demonstration of our animal ambassador friends from Animal Tales at 12:30. You do not want to miss out on any of the hoptopia fun! \nWe encourage kids\, mom\, dad\, and even the grandparents\, come as your favorite character or animal! \nWe will have a special showing of the ZOOTOPIA at 10:45 am and 2:00 pm in the PCI Digital Dome Theater. DESCRIPTION:Laissez les bons temps rouler!\nRoll into the Exploreum and celebrate the Mardi Gras season with our Krewe of Young Explorers Mardi Gras ball. From colorful science experiments\, exciting music and dancing to Mardi Gras throws galore\, this is a celebration you won’t want to miss. Located in the heart of Downtown Mobile\, the Mardi Gras ball revelers will be in the perfect spot to catch the parade to roll right by our building! \nWe will have VIP stroller/cart parking in our Courtyard for families that wish to partake in the Mardi Gras fun starting with the Floral Parade at 12pm. \nThe party is from 9:00am to 2:00pm on February 14th\, 2026. There will be thrilling STEAM experiments and activities all throughout the building\, as well as traditional Mardi Gras festivities including mask making\, enjoying delicious treats\, and parading around the Exploreum! \nWe will have a special showing of Disney’s Princess and the Frog in our PCI Digital Dome Theater at 10:00am.
