Thanks to everyone for their support from buying tickets to performers\, partners\, and sponsors! \n  \nPlease join us in celebrating the opening of the exciting new exhibit ¡Cuba! on Thursday\, January 25\, 2024 at the Exploreum Science Center in the heart of Downtown Mobile! \nWe kick off this exhibit with our special\, ticketed only event Una Noche En Cuba featuring live music from Mofongo Latin Band\, performances by the Mobile Ballet\, with catering provided by Las Floriditas\, wine from United-Johnson Brothers of Alabama LLC.\, and additional libations by Braided River Brewing Company. \n \n  \n \n  \n  \nDress Code for Una Noche En Cuba: \nSemi-formal attire with Cuban flare. For example\, traditional style Guayabera shirt paired with linen pants (fedora optional) or a Cuban rumba inspired dress. \nDress along those lines are encouraged\, but guests are welcome to put their own spin on things as long as it fits in the realm of semi-formal attire. \nNo jeans\, tennis shoes or baseball/sports style hats. \n  \n¡CUBA! This year we return with our annual Die Hard/Nakatomi Christmas Party. \nWith this being the ultimate Christmas action movie\, we have upped the ante and are having a full-on Nakatomi Christmas party to accompany the screening of the movie. \nExpect to be blown away with all sorts of science\, from fiery fun to massive explosions! Be sure to give Tony a visit in his elevator\, then live it up with all the extra activities prior to the screening of the CHRISTMAS CLASSIC\, Die Hard! Thanks to our donors from the Downtown Mobile area\, we will be raffling off prizes before the event! \nTickets are now available so be sure to snag your spot! \nThe doors will open at 5pm for movie goers to come inside and explore our exhibits. \nThe Science demonstrations show will start at 5:45pm and continue until 6:15pm. \nOur PCI Digital Dome theater will open at 6:20pm for seating. \nThe raffle for prizes will begin at 6:25pm with the movie starting right after. \nBring Your Own Wine/Beer (no liquor at this time) options.
