DESCRIPTION:Summer Academy Sessions 2026!\n \nGet ready for a summer of discovery\, creativity\, and hands-on fun at our Summer Academy.\nDesigned to spark curiosity and build confidence\, our engaging programs let kids explore exciting science topics through experiments\, projects\, and interactive activities. Our 4-5-year class\, 6-7-year class\, and 8-10-year class programs run June 1st-July 31st (excluding June 29th-July 3rd)\, giving younger learners plenty of time to explore\, build\, and ask big questions. Our 11-13-year-old program runs June 1st-July 17th (also excluding June 29th-July 3rd)\, offering deeper challenges that encourage critical thinking and teamwork. Whether your child is a budding inventor or just loves to explore how the world works\, this is a summer they won’t forget. They will gain a love for science that they will carry with them long after it ends. \nKey Registration & Academy Details\nCost & Classes\n\nWeekly registration is $190 for Non-Members and $155 for Members.\nFor any purchases made for Summer Academy that you need a refund or reimbursement for\, please contact Danyelle Adams at dadams@exploreum.com by May 8th\, 2026.\nThere will be four different classes available per weekly registration: a 4-5-year class\, a 6-7-year class\, an 8-10-year class\, and an 11-13- year class.\nA credit card must be on file to cover any additional fees. All credit card forms will be shredded at the end of the Summer Academy.\nFor a list of weekly themes click HERE\n\nRequired T-Shirts\n\nA Purple Exploreum Academy T-shirt is required for all students and can be purchased for $12 during registration.\n\nLunch & Snacks\n\nPlease pack a lunch and a water bottle for your child. Bring the whole family to enjoy dog-themed activities\, live demonstrations\, local vendors\, and even the chance to meet your newest four-legged family member through a pet adoption with Wags & Whiskers.\nWhat’s Happening:\nCanine Bark Bazaar featuring local pet vendors:\n* Hop Hounds Brew Pub & Dog Park\n* Sunpaws\n* Dog Days Barkery\n* Poppy & Co. Pet Care Collective \nLive demonstrations throughout the day from:\n* Firehouse K9 Academy\n* Mobile County K9 Unit\n* B&B Pet Shop\, featuring a presentation on the importance of enrichment for dogs \n* Wags & Whiskers Pet Adoption \n* Exciting live science demonstrations throughout the day \n* New York Life will be offering Child ID and Dog Tag ID services \n* Holly Jolly Snowcones will be on-site beginning at 11:00 AM with cool treats available for purchase \n* And don’t miss Superpower Dogs in the PCI Digital Dome Theater to complete the paw-fect day! \nAdmission to Dog Days of Summer is included with regular Exploreum admission.
