Kicking off with the Exploreum Easter Egg Hunt\, we’ll bring the magic of Easter together with the wonders of STEAM (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Art\, and Math) learning. The event features hands-on activities\, interactive science experiments\, and illusion-based fun that will captivate both kids and adults alike! \nThe Easter Egg Hunt will feature 10\,000 prize-filled eggs\, but make sure you are on time as these get snapped up fast. Then\, dive into the curious world of Alice in Wonderland with themed STEAM adventures\, including: \n\nIllusions and sensory experiments that explore the brain and the science behind perception.\nMagic cards and fun STEM challenges with the Red Queen.\nColor-changing chemistry experiments with the White Rabbit\, featuring the famous chemistry clock.\nA thrilling liquid nitrogen demonstration\, including the shattering of painted roses!\n\nDelicious Treats & Family FunTake a break and enjoy a refreshing treat from the Southern Cream Ice Cream Truck\, or stop by for face painting by Starshine Faces. Coastie has visited other cities such as Marietta\, and Dayton\, Ohio\, Washington DC\, Chicago\, and St. Louis. He has even gone to Pittsburgh 1997-1998 for the Tri City Regatta and Parade.\nOne of Coastie’s most recent educational programs that has also become an annual event is the Defense Logistic Agency\, Summer Family Fun Festival Day\, in Columbus\, Ohio. The interaction is always very worthwhile at this event. The bottom line for Coastie is “Education and Saving Lives” while sharing the boating and water safety message with everyone he contacts.
